Charlie Wilson Dead – There is a shocking news again today. When I surfed to USAtoday a few moment ago, I found that former Texas congressman, Charlie Wilson died at 76 of a heart attack. Charlie Wilson, a hard partying Democrat who had important role in the covert U.S war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, passed away at aged 76.

According to hospital spokeswoman, Charlie Wilson dies today. However, still according to her, 2 years ago, Charlie Wilson had a heart transplant.

Wilson’s exploits in supplying arms to anti-Soviet Muslim fighters were portrayed by Tom Hanks in the 2007 movie Charlie Wilson’s War.

Known as “Goodtime Charlie” and “the “Liberal from Lufkin,” Wilson represented the 2nd District in East Texas from 1972 to 1996.

Considering that he’s a great man, now don’t be surprised if there are many people are searching for latest information about him.
