Alec Baldwin Hospitalized in Lenox Hill Hospital Overnight

Alec Baldwin, the “30 rock” star in NBC show, was rushed to Manhattan hospital overnight. Alec Baldwin was rushed to hospital after 911 got a call that is believed coming from his 14-year-old Ireland. During the call, she told 911 that she couldn’t rouse Alec Baldwin. When the medics came to Alec Baldwin’s Upper West Side apartment, the actor agreed to go to the hospital where he was treated for a while then released after about an hour, NBC reported.

Sources said it was Baldwin’s daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger, Ireland, who made the call, telling an operator Baldwin was unresponsive. Baldwin, who is due to co-host the Academy Awards next month, was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital. The Emmy-winner’s condition was not known.

Calls to Baldwin’s representatives were not returned.

Baldwin’s daughter was at the center of a controversy during Baldwin’s nasty breakup with Basinger in 2007, when an angry voicemail he left regarding the girl was released. In it, Baldwin raged that Ireland was a “rude, thoughtless little pig.” Baldwin later apologized and even expressed interest in writing a parenting book.

Although Baldwin has said he may retire from acting, his career is in full swing. In 2009, he starred with Steve Martin and Meryl Streep in the romantic comedy “It’s Complicated.” He is critically acclaimed for his work in the NBC show “30 Rock” and on March 7, he and Martin are set to host the Oscars.

Well, hopefully Alec Baldwin will recover soon.
